I spent my childhood taking snapshots of my friends with a $9 Vivitar 110 camera I purchased with my allowance in 6th grade. At 14 I received an Olympus 35mm for Christmas. I was addicted to capturing my life in print. I went to college at Portland State University and graduated with a BS in Psychology in 2002. I filled my post college downtime with a photography class at the community college and my life plan quickly changed. Within two months I was moving to CA to attend Brooks Institute of Photography.
